The Alberta School of Business is proud to present the 8th Annual EDGE Business Competition. Come January 2018, EDGE will welcome 12 new teams of four from schools across Canada to Edmonton, and challenge them with the most realistic business simulation competition in Western Canada. EDGE Business Competition is a live business simulation for students who strive to challenge themselves, test their skills and expand their learning beyond the classroom. EDGE is multi-disciplinary and interactive in nature, to provide students with an opportunity to showcase both their learned skills and natural abilities. EDGE is a twist on the static case competition because of the real time component and fluxing situation, student are required to complete several challenges, each one dependent on the decisions of the last. Teams will need to work together, think critically, react to changes, perform under time pressure and make marginal decisions to prove they have the edge over the competition and emerge victorious.
