Got an old phone or tablet lying around? Here's how to get rid of it safely.

🚒 It's Fire Prevention Week, and this year's theme is safe charging, which is all about the lithium-ion batteries in our phones, tablets and laptops. Those same batteries are why old devices don't belong in the garbage or recycling cart. If they get crushed, they can start a fire.

🔋 Before you drop them off, tape the ends of any loose batteries. Swollen or damaged ones are handled a little differently, so call your local depot first and they'll help you sort it out.

📍 Where to bring them:
Saskatchewan: any SARCAN depot

Alberta: find your closest depot

🧡🧡🧡

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour residential school Survivors, their families, and the children who never came home. 🧡

We also honour those who keep Indigenous languages, stories, and cultures alive. The Elders, knowledge keepers, parents, and community members whose care connects generations.

Tim Carwell words, shared in this image, remind us of the strength in those connections and the responsibility we share to carry that kindness forward.

At DreamsTree, we believe in supporting communities and the futures they envision for themselves. Today, we invite you to listen to Indigenous voices, learn something new, and share a meaningful conversation with someone in your life. Carry that learning beyond today.

Every Child Matters.

For anyone finding today difficult, support is available 24/7:

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

As an Indigenous-owned company, CommAlert recognizes and honours the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today is a day to pause, reflect, listen and learn. We wear orange for residential school Survivors, their families, and the children who never came home. Every Child Matters.

This collage is our team, each of us in our orange shirt. We're strong because we stand together and support one another.

We invite you to take a moment today to learn something new about Indigenous history or culture. Listen with an open mind, have a meaningful conversation, and think about one small thing you can do for reconciliation in your community.

Reconciliation continues long after today. We'll keep listening, learning and moving forward together.

Support is available 24/7 through the Indian Residential Schools Crisis Line: 1-866-925-4419

A first for Canada, at River Cree on Enoch Cree Nation. 🔥

Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen officially opened September 14 at River Cree Resort & Casino, the first location in the country. Tim Carwell attended the opening and was invited by Chief Cody Thomas.

Congratulations to the River Cree team on this milestone for Enoch.

Most inbound calls are decided in seconds.
If no one answers quickly, people move on.

In urgent situations, that delay isn’t just frustrating. It can create risk.
Fast response isn’t a nice-to-have.
It’s part of protecting your operations and your people.

We always answer. ☎️
Always on. Always human.

We are that monitoring system 👇

Working alone shouldn’t mean being unprotected.
Behind every lone worker should be a system that:
✔ tracks
✔ monitors
✔ responds
Because missed check-ins aren’t just gaps, they’re risk.

We help keep your workers safe.

When someone reaches out in urgent or high-stakes situations, delays don’t just impact experience, they create risk.

Missed calls can mean:
• lost opportunities
• frustrated customers
• unresolved issues
• or situations escalating when they shouldn’t

A human response, in real time, changes that.
Because being available isn’t enough.
Being responsive is what matters.

Always on. Always human.

A worker misses a check-in.
Now what?
Is there a process?
Is someone notified?
Is action taken immediately?
Or does it get noticed hours later?

It’s the difference between response and risk.
That's where we come in, keeping your workers safe.

It’s -30°C. 🥶
A tenant calls — no heat.
Now what?

Voicemail isn’t just inconvenient.
It can become urgent, fast.
Real-time response means:
✔ faster action
✔ safer outcomes
✔ less risk for everyone involved
Because some calls can’t wait.

Alway on. Always Human.
