It is with sadness that we announce the passing of very good client and good friend, Iris Saunders, Executive Director at EmployAbilities. She was a remarkable lady and her work with people with disabilities has been incredible over the years. Her work will live on in our community!

None the less a bit late. But Congrats to all the nominees and winners at last Saturday evening's ACE awards. A spectacular evening once again put on my a great committee.
Our community is filled with so much talent and we are so proud to be a part of it.

More news on Yegishome.ca. The site went live yesterday and in 2.5 hours, 4000 users visited the site. When 2300 users were on at the same time, the site crashed! Our techies dare working to restore the sit and increase user capacity. Thank you "Yeggies" for your interest!!!

This weekend, Saturday & Sunday, go to the Salvi Show Homes at the Ridge in Sherwood Park. They have 2 lovely Christmas trees loaded with gift cards up for a silent auction bid. When I last looked, there were hardly any bids on the trees with the gift cards. The value of each of the trees with cards is well over $600.00 each. There is a shopping tree and an entertainment tree. Just think, you could get the tree as well as give out the gift cards for presents.....Christmas shopping done for you! And you have a beautifully decorated tree. This is the last weekend!

Can you believe how quickly this time of the year comes!
It is the best time for sure. Let's celebrate with all those who are near and dear to us and even those who are not. Most importantly do remember and do something special for those less fortunate than ourselves.
