My name is Sherry K Marszalski, or Babcia as the little ones call me (that's Grandma, in Polish). I am an experienced and dependable dayhome caregiver in Caernarvon (Castle Downs area), at 148th Ave and 122nd Street in Edmonton, AB. I have 37 years of experience caring for children, with my current private dayhome operating at this location for the last 15 years. I am set up to care for children f

rom newborn to 5 years of age (sometimes a bit older) and can be available for all shifts. My hours are very flexible and include full time, part time, overnight, weekends and drop-in care. I have a very large, age appropriate, well stocked and safe main floor play area with a separate sleeping room devoted to your children, with each child having their own, dedicated bed. My program includes various daily activities from games to reading to crafts. Healthy meals and snacks are always provided. Current rates are: $8.00 per hour for drop-ins, $45.00 per day (to a max of 9 1/2 hrs, extra time can be added), $55.00 for overnights, $750.00 per month for full time day, afternoon or night shifts. $1.00 will be added for breakfast and supper. (morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack are included)Hugs are always free (for the kids, of course). Monthly and year end receipts are given for tax purposes.

I am so sorry to have to post this, but due to unforeseen medical issues I have to close my dayhome as of tomorrow, Jan 23, 2025. The doctor has put me on bed rest for the next 8 to 12 mths, and start treatments at the hospital for the next 8 mths. I will miss seeing all those little faces.
