Sometimes an artist just wants to do something a little more complicated. 🎨

I spend a lot of my time creating little houses for It’s A Date Night. They’re designed to be fun and approachable, so anyone can sit down, pick up a pencil, and enjoy creating something of their own.

But every now and then, I want to challenge myself a little.

This one started with a late-night FaceTime with a friend. Somewhere in the middle of the night, I started sketching her, got the proportions right, and decided to see where I could take it. Six hours in Procreate later, I had a portrait she absolutely loved. ❤️

Sometimes you just need to make art for the sake of making art.

A little reminder that there’s more than one side to what I do. ✨
