It has been a busy 2019 spring as I have been teaching courses for NAIT and for the Knowledgehut. I will be busy until the end of July instructing on Managing and Using Information Systems. I have over 80 students (2 classes) which will be an intense, fulfilling time.

This time, in 2018, I was in Addis Ababa for the start of Ramadan. It was a national holiday so I was not teaching consulting and project management skills that day. During that period, I had many students who worked on their hunger for information until sunset.

Hi Everyone, I am in Addis Ababa Ethiopia developing Project Management course materials for the African Institute of Governance and Development. It is quite an experience and I am thriving. I will have more to talk about soon. - Andy

I have had an interesting fall teaching for two universities. The subjects vary a lot as I teach about local government at the University of Alberta and Information Technology for NAIT. My students consist of first year and mid career senior administrators. I enjoy the variety and look forward to more teaching opportunities.

My experiences in Africa provided me with many insights into how to provide planning and instructional services in third world countries. The people of Ethiopia are amazingly resilient and dedicated. They were wonderful to work with and I hope to return.

Hi Everyone, I am in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia assisting a new start up college known as the Horn Institute of Governance and Development. As a volunteer, I work with staff in developing HIGAD's first strategic plan and providing project management expertise. It is quite an experience.
