Hi there,

Needing some talent in the Edmonton region for BG work on the Travel AB shoot next week. Days may use up to 6 different groups of BG or they may recycle and use folks a few times over course of three shoot days.

Sequence of Activities are TBC but this is the draft schedule:
Feb 21 - Airport then shift to Ice Castles
Feb 22 - Rogers Place then shift to Restaurant location
Feb 23 - Ice Skating at City Hall then shift to walking Downtown and/or River Valley.

This is an ACTRA shoot. Please submit union and non union separately. Indicate days they are available. Also needing to know skating ability for those who want to work as BG on Ice Skating sequence. They may have to bring skates too just as an FYI.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS FRIDAY 17th at NOON.

Rate: 500/day 150 for secondary roles
Out of town actors: 100 per diem, transportation and accommodations will be provided.

Use: - The Brick, internal only and in perpetuity.

Specs and details: (ethnicities are welcome in all roles, and dates are probable)

“The Good Sales Consultant“ - Principal – Feb 16 & 18 (2 shoot nights)

Female 25-35. Preferably ethnic. Most of our sales consultants are from African nations, so if the accent fits their region that's ok with us.

“The Bad Sales Consultant“ - Principal - Feb 17 & 19 (2 shoot nights)

Male 25-40. Preferably caucasian. Québécois accent a must. Goofy character.

“Customers” - Principal (x2) - Feb 16-19 (4 shoot nights)

Couple 25-40. Diversity in ethnicities and accents encouraged. Close to Québécois accent given priority.

“Manager” - Secondary - Feb 16-19 (4 shoot nights, only needed for an hour or two per night)

Male or Female. 40+.

Narrator - Principal - Late February to early March (1 shoot day, flexible schedule)
Male or Female. 40+.

Dear Clients,

It has come to our attention that there is a US "Talent" Company coming up from the states targeting EDMONTON this weekend.

This company uses Disney stars to lure people into "auditions" and then employs high pressure sales to get families to drop over $10,000.00 in US fund in less than 24 hours!

Do your research. We do not endorse or support this operation.

They are targeting kids on FB, Twitter and Instagram using ads that clearly demonstrate they are trying to pass themselves off as associates of Disney. (See the example)

Let's take a stand and teach these US companies that Canada is not a target!
