STARR is recruiting new club members!
The Student Team for Alberta Rocketry Research (STARR) is a large engineering project group where we design and fly large high-power sounding rockets and liquid rocket engines. If you are interested, please scan the QR code or visit our website uastarr.ca. We don't expect you to have any previous experience, just a willingness to learn and hang out with the team!

We present the Sounding Rocketry 101 workshop we are hosting this weekend! We will show how our previous rockets worked to a general audience, to which all students and faculty are invited! It will be pretty hands-on as we take apart some of our old rockets to give a rundown of all the systems. Come to learn more about the research and work done on sounding rockets at the uofa!

We are incredibly excited to share the results from Spaceport America Cup 2024!

With the performance of Ringo IIB, STARR achieved 3rd in the 10k COTS category, and 6th overall against 121 international teams.

We would like to thank , , and for their support and assistance throughout the development of Ringo IIB. Our team is already beginning work on our next rocket, and are incredibly excited for the next launch at Spaceport America Cup 2025!
