Have you ever considered using your stamps with block printing ink? Here's what I've learned since trying it for myself;
✨ Extra Large stamp pads can be expensive Block printing ink is more cost effective for larger (5"+) stamps.
✨ Block printing ink gives you more freedom with the color you choose, whether it be monochromatic or whether you'd like to try a gradient, there are way more options for stamping outside the box.
✨ Block printing ink is w a t e r s o l u a b l e ❤️
✨ Block printing ink has more opacity (something I struggle with when I'm stamping with ink). You get a richer, thicker color.
✨ Block printing ink is more forgiving for uneven surfaces or textiles that may not want to absorb traditional stamp ink.
✨ You get more texture with block printing ink. It dries a little raised, which is cool.
✨ Block printing ink is way messier. Instead of getting ink on just the stamp, you get the opportunity to get it on your hands, too! 😂
✨ Your kids will love helping. This morning, my kid woke up and asked me first thing if we could stamp (which of course, I was ready and excited for). Then he decided he was done and left me to clean everything up by myself. Ahhhh, quality mother-son time 😌
Anyways 😂 I kind of prefer to do it this way now. I love that my stamps are darker, and have more texture, and to be totally honest I kind of find the process relaxing. Roll on ink, place stamp, press, set aside, repeat.
