If you’re planning to say yes, give this a quick read first. A little planning up front makes the whole project smoother, from the first site visit to the day your first car plugs in.

Ever wondered how solar panels actually get up on the roof? Meet our mod lift.

Our crew secures each panel at ground level, and the lift carries it up a ladder-mounted rail to the roofline. From there, the team on the roof grabs it and gets it into place.

It means nobody is hauling heavy panels up a ladder by hand, the modules are handled less (so less chance of damage), and the install keeps moving at a steady pace. A small piece of equipment that makes a big difference on site.

Workmanship Wednesday 🔧

Some of our favourite work is in the details. On this commercial washroom fit-out, our crew wired a backlit LED mirror with all the connections hidden behind the wall, and placed a GFCI receptacle within easy reach of the vanity.

Clean, safe and built to look good for years. Nice work, team!

Project update from Aldersyde! ☀️

Module installation is closer and closer to completion on the Volker Stevin rooftop array. Our crew has every panel set and secured, and the system is one step closer to producing clean power for the facility.

Proud of the team for keeping this one moving. Stay tuned for the next milestone!

Alberta is one of the best places in Canada to build a career as an electrician, and the numbers back it up. Swipe through to see why.

At InfernoEnergy, we’re proud to train the next generation of Alberta’s electricians. Our team works on commercial electrical and solar projects all year, so apprentices get steady hours, hands-on experience and mentors who’ve seen it all.

Workmanship Wednesday: overhead distribution feeding Viking Power Technologies. ⚡

Our crew ran these large feeder conduits overhead on a strut rack, then brought each one down into the switchgear with matching bends. Lining up runs this size takes careful planning and a lot of skill, and the result speaks for itself.

Project update from the Edmonton Ski Club!

Our crew is making great progress on the building’s wall-mounted solar array. Mounting panels vertically on the facade makes a lot of sense here. They stay clear of snow and capture the low winter sun, which means steady production during the club’s busiest season.

We can’t wait to share the finished result. Stay tuned!

Edmonton’s fall colours put on quite a show around Cameron County and Durham County this year. 🍁

Golden aspens and evergreens wrap around these apartment buildings, framing the new rooftop solar like a picture. It’s a beautiful reminder of how naturally solar fits into the neighbourhoods we call home.

Solar is a smart fit for multi-residential properties. It helps cover the power used in common areas, reduces long-term operating costs, and makes buildings more appealing to residents who care about sustainability.

Happy fall from all of us at InfernoEnergy!

It’s Workmanship Wednesday! 🔧

Before a business can open its doors, it needs power. This warehouse is lit from end to end with LED high bays spread evenly across the ceiling, giving the whole floor bright, consistent light.

We love seeing a space like this come to life.
