Everybody sacrifices during seasons like this.

Abbey had to give up her walks this winter… because I wasn’t available. I was taking care of Tracey.

And as a caregiver, I couldn’t risk slipping on icy sidewalks these past few weeks.
It might sound like an excuse—I get that. I’m okay with the judgment.

But when you’re the only caregiver… you have to be 💯.

Because what happens if I get hurt?
Where does a TBI patient go then?
Back to the hospital… or a care center?

That thought alone is heartbreaking—but it’s real.

137 days of full-time caregiving.
No identity. No personal purpose.
Just care. Just love.

But I made a vow on May 26, 2026—
for better or for worse,
in sickness and in health.

And I meant it.
