The Prime Minister and Premier announced this morning that the West Coast Pipeline is in the National Interest, the first project to be given that designation. The new pipeline is now named "Pacific Link". The designation under the Building Canada Act means that the government has determined that it should be built, fast tracking the consultation and approval process. Edson will be a major beneficiary of the project due to our strategic location along the pipeline route. We welcome this news. Let's get it built and get our resources to tide water!
