It’s the last market for the season! I’m taking pre-orders for apple pies, hand pies, and apple crisps…sorry, cherry is sold out! Just let me know what you’d like and it will be set aside so you don’t have to worry. We’ll also have our selection of jellies and of course, freshly picked, crisp apples.

Applejacks Orchard at Elkhorn, MB has brought us some fresh picked apples from their orchard! Applejacks Orchard grows all their fruit with no pesticides or herbicides! The varieties available are:
- Prairie Sensation: Their top selling apple. So sweet and yummy. Great for eating fresh or cooking.
- Goodland: Good all round apple. Great for eating fresh or cooking.
- Prairie Rose: Similar to Granny Smith but red in colour. Great for baking with.
Stock up on apples now while they are in peak season!

Our store is open Tuesday to Friday 9:00-5:00, Saturday 10:00-4:00. Closed Sunday and Monday. 2 miles South of Rocanville on #8 highway.

Today we had the pleasure of hosting a picking group from Shilo military base. As always the children were a lot of fun to see running around the orchard. We had a lot of fun hosting this group of about 30 people.

Orchard update:

Wow, what a weekend! Although the tornado was too close for comfort, we feel extremely blessed to have no significant damage. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our neighbours and friends in the Elkhorn/Kola/Maryfield area who were not so lucky.

We still have some clean up to do however, so we will be working hard this week to get the orchard in shape so we can start picking this weekend. For everyone that has contacted us already, we will be in touch to set up your picking time. For everyone else….what are you waiting for?!? Message us for a picking time and get some of the best apples you’ve ever tasted!!!
