Got another scam email this morning. Looking like a legit etransfer, told me CRA had deposited $458 in my account. It was in French. Wrong!!!! CRA do not send e-transfers. Either you get direct deposit or a cheque. If you get this DO NOT OPEN. It will give scammers access to your bank account. Beware! And if you’re not sure, call or message me.

Scam 🚨 alert! This morning I got a recorded call telling me my Amazon prime subscription had renewed and 900+ dollars charged to my credit card. If I wish to cancel press one. I pressed end call and you should too. Do not engage with these scammers. If you’re not sure, hang up anyway. Anyone legit will find a way to reach you. Also, feel free to contact me anytime if you think something may be a scam. Be safe and have a great day!

This morning I received a call which showed up as an Elliot Lake number, in which a recording purported to be from legal department of service Canada . The voice suggested ignoring this call could lead to arrest. So I pressed one, a heavily accented voice said “ service Canada, how may I help you “. I only said” you should know, you called me” and he hung up. Point is, please do not be sucked in by these evil scammers. Hang up, or press one and mess with them but do NOT be intimidated and do not tell them anything.
