At Breakaway Hockey Advisory & Consulting Services, we are dedicated to guiding hockey players and families through the competitive pathways of AAA and Junior hockey. With more than three decades of scouting, coaching, and player development
experience across AAA, Junior A, and Junior C hockey, I specialize in helping
players and families successfully navigate the highly competitive pathways of el

ite
hockey. I’ve coached and scouted within the OMHA, GTHL, OJHL, and multiple Junior
organizations, giving me a clear understanding of what teams at the highest minor
hockey and junior levels look for in a player. My experience includes roles as a Junior A Head Scout, Area Scout, Head Coach,
and long-time development instructor, as well as years working with athletes who
advanced to the NHL, AHL, OHL, OUA, Junior A,B,C B. This background
allows me to provide honest, accurate evaluations and development plans tailored to
the demands of AAA and Junior-level hockey. As a former junior player myself, I understand the pressures young athletes face, the
expectations placed on them, and the importance of strong character, preparation, and
mindset. My approach is direct, supportive, and rooted in helping players grow in all
areas of the game—from skill development and hockey IQ to discipline,
professionalism, and resilience. I work closely with players and families to provide:

• Personalized development plans
• Advice on team selection, pathways, and opportunities
• Guidance through the AAA and Junior hockey landscape
• Clear feedback and mentorship that builds confidence and accountability
