After much cold and snow on the prairies of Alberta, we got a break! The snow was knee deep but it was a warm day for this special photoshoot. It's hard to describe how much these images mean in so many ways, but several of them captured forever the love and admiration these horses and their trainer have for each other.

This photo was taken of Jay's grandparents on their wedding day, January 9, 1954 in New York City. Jay took a picture of their actual wedding photo several years ago and we finally took the time to restore it to our liking over the past few weeks. For us today, this image is a monument of a couple who committed to each other 64 years ago and through the good and bad, stayed committed to each other until the passing of Jay's Abuelo in 2016. We love them both dearly and are so thankful for their legacy of love and commitment to each other!

This month we are celebrating 14 years of being married! We love photographing weddings and more than anything, we enjoy seeing marriages thrive and people growing together in them. Marriage is like a garden that needs sunshine, rain, weeding and attentiveness to grow beautiful. With this in mind over the past 14 years, we have grown much together and have truly become best of friends!
