1975 WILLIAMS PAT HAND – ELECTRO-MECHANICAL REFURBISHMENT!
Another vintage beauty has rolled through the Viper Pinball Restoration Garage! This time, we had the pleasure of bringing a 1975 Williams Pat Hand back to its former glory!
This 51-year-old electro-mechanical classic needed some serious attention, and we gave it the mechanical overhaul it deserved!
🔧 Here's what we tackled:
✅ Complete LED Conversion – Replaced the original incandescent lighting with energy-efficient LEDs, bringing new life to the beautiful vintage artwork!
✅ Flipper Rebuilds – Rebuilt the flipper mechanisms to restore crisp, powerful, and responsive gameplay.
✅ Score Reel Repairs – Repaired and serviced the mechanical score reels to ensure accurate scoring and reliable operation.
✅ All Stepper Units Rebuilt – Completely serviced and rebuilt the mechanical stepper units that control the game's scoring and functions.
✅ Relay Cleaning & Adjustments – Cleaned and carefully adjusted the relays to restore proper electrical contact and dependable operation.
🃏 A LITTLE PAT HAND HISTORY!
🎯 Released by Williams in May 1975, Pat Hand was designed by legendary pinball designer Norm Clark, with artwork by Christian Marche.
🎯 Only 6,500 machines were manufactured!
🎯 This four-player machine features three flippers, including an upper playfield flipper that adds another level of skill and strategy.
🎯 Unlike most pinball machines, Pat Hand features two pop bumpers positioned near the lower-left corner of the playfield instead of the traditional upper playfield location!
🎯 The playing-card theme inspired the name Pat Hand, a poker term describing a hand good enough that you don't need to draw any more cards.
