Okay peeps this is still happening ...not all vehicle's back lights turn on with the automatic function. Please check and make sure! Luckily I caught up to this young fellow at a red light and told him and he had no idea and was very thankful.
Driving on our roads nowadays is scary with the road rage, aggression and stunt driving and drinking and driving. Please make sure your back lights are on so at least this may help you be safe on the road!

Quick check on Google will tell you about your make and model of car and if this automatic function only lights up your front headlights or not!
