Most leaders don’t avoid tough conversations because they don’t care.

They avoid them BECAUSE they care.

They don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings.
They don’t want conflict.
They hope the issue will resolve itself.

But there is a cost…

When poor performance or difficult behaviour goes unaddressed, your entire team notices. Standards slip, frustration increases and trust is lost.

Avoiding the conversation might feel easier in the moment, but long term it creates more stress for everyone.
