Soy was is a vegetable wax derived from soybeans, it is environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

Many other big brand name candles are not made of soy wax but instead are made from paraffin wax because it is cheaper and more accessible than soy.

Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum which is a by-product of gasoline... yup the same stuff you put in your car 🤢.
