Chi-Miigwech to the Treaty Three Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police for their continued support of the Overdose Awareness Healing Walk held today in Fort Frances.

Officers provided a safe es**rt for participants walking from the Sorting Gap Marina to the United Native Friendship Centre, leading the walk and safely closing intersections along the route.

We greatly appreciate their continued support and commitment to keeping Healing Walk participants safe.

The opening ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Sorting Gap Marina, followed by the Healing Walk to the United Native Friendship Centre, where guest speakers and a BBQ lunch will follow.

-Wear purple to show your support.💜

-Hand drummers are encouraged to bring their drums.

-Shuttle service will be available for those unable to participate in the walk.🚌

Everyone is welcome. Please join us as we walk together in remembrance, healing and hope.

Yesterday, some of our Developmental Support Services team had the pleasure of taking our youth Summer Campers to Dead End Ranch Trails in Blackhawk for a wonderful day on the farm!

The children enjoyed snuggling with the guinea pigs, bunnies, and ducks, horseback rides, and feeding the goats and chickens. There were plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the day!

A big thank you to Missy at Dead End Trail and all of her wonderful helpers for welcoming us and making it such a memorable day!
