After being diagnosed with ADHD I had a huge realization that the majority of my uncontrollable cravings for sugar and carbs was my brain needing dopamine.
I’ve tried endless diet fads and failed miserably but now that I’ve been learning how to better manage my dopamine supplies it has become a lot easier. My relationship with food, however, is still in need of healing. Can’t just toss 15 years of eating my feelings away like it never happened!
