Timber Harvesting - We are a full service "stump-to-dump" logging contractor, equipped to log and deliver over 1.5 million cubic meters of timber annually. We have built a reputation for delivering on our commitments of quality and value, and work hard to exceed our clients' expectations. Our customers include industry, government, First Nations, and private forest owners. While industrial forestry forms the core business, we continue to build and diversify our company. Log Hauling - KDL Group's fleet of trucks includes 26 company trucks and a fleet of sub-contractor trucks. We own, manage and maintain our own trucking division to provide our clients with stability and reliability in a fast-paced industry. Forest Management - KDL Group staffs a complete woodlands department with high-functioning, professional forestry staff. We currently manage 1.2 million cubic meters under a range of tenures and comprehensive forest management contracts. Comprehensive forest management services include: tenure administration, harvest and development planning, GIS and information management, silviculture and rehabilitation, as well as financing and forestry business management. In addition to our own tenures, our key clients include the Mackenzie Fibre Group and the District of Fort St. Coastal Forestry Operations - Fall River Logging Ltd. is the coastal division of the KDL Group, with a central office in Courtenay BC. Fall River currently does full-phase, stump-to-dump harvesting operations on 250,000 cubic meters annually, with expertise in both ground-based and cable harvesting systems. Fall River also has substantial road construction capacity, including drilling and blasting expertise, with current projects in the order of 40km per year. Road Construction - KDL Group currently builds over 100km of road annually. We have a dedicated group of supervisors, operators and equipment capable of constructing all classes of industrial road and are bonded for major projects.
