CRA call count Friday and today? 17!!

The latest mind blown?

3 frozen accounts, one line of credit maxed out by CRA, and a personal tax refund HELD because they owed every year except 2025 so they are holding it as an instalment for 2026

🤬

Whether the balance was $1500 or $150,000 owed to the CRA, they freeze your account until you deal with them…….my advice?

Set up a payment plan, the accounts can take a month to get going again

And file your taxes 🤪🫣. It sucks, I know, but it’s our reality right now

Aug 5 & 6 I will be working remotely due to a road closure out by the farm. …..they are repairing the coolies and the detour is quite the distance 🤪

CMBL is fully moved to the new location 🤪 just the cleaning left to do tomorrow.

To my clients that have action items, I’m hoping to be fully caught up by Sunday…..if you know about it, I know it’s there too but feel free to reach out if you are concerned.

My new space won’t be “Lisa Approved” until my painter comes this fall to finish what I just couldn’t get done before the transition….but it’ll get there.

To the City? Welp, I know I need to stay in the positive energy so I’ll let the Universe handle any Karma or empathy lessons for each of you. The fall out from this cost me personally over $10,000 so far…..let alone the thousands in receivables over 3 weeks for my clients…..I’m still cleaning up that mess 🙄 and dealing with angry, frustrated customers who tried to get to that location, but couldn’t (road closed to EVERY entrance to my back door)

I’m moving forward…..finally slept last night…..

July 6th-we will be closed for moving, and off line. Phone lines are still up, leave a message as I get those emailed to me.

I appreciate the grace from my clients throughout this mess.

I expect it’ll be Friday July 10th to be completely settled once again…..but it’s coming 🫣

This fall I have my amazing painter coming in and the personalization of my space will be complete before winter.

June 30th update

Moving didn’t work with the rained out road the construction crew built for me……it’s now a work in progress as I do 30 month ends, 4 year ends, pst/GST filings, moving MORE CRA meetings 🫣🙈

Please allow grace during this worst case imaginable as I’ll be at least a week of moving nights and working days

To my clients, please call and leave a message and I’ll get back to you ASAP.

To the customers of my clients, (yall know who you are), PLEASE pay your invoices via etransfer or CC asap. My clients cannot go this many days now without receivables by mail (I’ve had zero mail delivery in almost 2 weeks) I understand finding your way to pay in person is impossible (if you listen to the “road closed” signs 🤬)

Not to mention all freight deliveries have stopped and in all my “free time” I cannot get freight and deliveries picked up for my office and clients.

I aim to be fully transitioned by the end of this coming weekend, printer scheduled to be moved over Monday July 6.

When this clusterf*ck is over for me, I do wish upon those involved to have to experience the same desperate defeat as I have, and be as broke as my clients suddenly have become without receivables 😟

You go 2-3 passed your payday without money, with NO DELIVERY IN SIGHT……see who all can handle it with grace…..

In closing, I had this issue mitigated KNOWING my business could NOT sustain that disruption. I was moving……
