EXTREME Wildfire Danger – Calgary Forest Protection Area

The Calgary Forest Protection Area is now at EXTREME Wildfire Danger, and a Fire Restriction is currently in effect.

Hot, dry conditions and strong winds mean that any new wildfire can start easily, spread rapidly, and become difficult to control.

We all have a role to play in preventing wildfires. Please use extra caution while enjoying the outdoors and help reduce the risk of human-caused fires.
