We can't say enough of a thank you to all the WUI and wildland firefighters who showed up to help and protect Liidlii Kue. Or to our families, employers, and the cooks and other support teams who handled our day to day and thus made it possible for our members to focus on firefighting. Mahsi cho, let's celebrate our amazing community together on Saturday!

COMMUNITY THANK YOU CELEBRATION

This Saturday, August 15, 2026, weโ€™re coming together as a community to say Mahsi Cho to all the firefighters, organizations, and everyone who helped protect and support our community.

Come out to the Street Festival outside the Rec Centre starting at 1:00 PM!

BBQ, Vendors, Dragon Egg Demonstration, Fire Fighting Obstacle Course, Raffle prizes, 65 inch TV raffle (you gotta be there to win the TV), the Johnny Landry Band & Drum dance.

This is a chance for us to come together, show our appreciation, and enjoy some time together as a community.

Everyone is welcome! See you Saturday! Mahsi Cho to everyone who helped out.

9 members responded this morning to a structure fire alarm at the Manor.

Thankfully, although there was smoke, there was no active fire on arrival. We quickly contained and overhauled the scene.

Mahsi to the callers who notified us, and to the residents who gave us the space to safely work.

"And now back to our regular scheduled programming..."

Like you, over the past few weeks our team has been slowly transitioning back to our normal lives - welcoming home our families and community, cleaning up our homes and yards, and returning to our day jobs.

And last night we cleaned the last of our de-mobilized structure protection equipment. All our equipment and members remain ready to respond as usual to ambulance and fire calls. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš’๐Ÿš‘
