Our 1989 K100 was looking a little lonely, so we did the sensible thing… and bought another cabover.

Meet the newest addition to the SLI Logistics lineup: this iconic 1988 Freightliner. Classic cabover style, CAT power, and plenty of chrome. How were we supposed to say no?

Some people get their dog a companion. We get our truck another truck. Same logic, bigger parking requirements.

SLI Logistics Ltd. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Vac Truck Swamper to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into the oilfield, gain hands-on experience, and work alongside experienced Vac Truck Operators.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting Vac Truck Operators with day-to-day operations
• Handling hoses and helping with setup and teardown
• Assisting with loading, unloading and cleanup
• Completing equipment checks and keeping trucks and equipment clean
• Working safely around equipment, facilities and job sites
• Following all SLI and customer safety requirements

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to perform physically demanding work
• Safety-focused and reliable
• Able to work flexible hours and shifts
• Oilfield experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right person

Accounting & Payroll Technician

SLI Logistics is looking for an experienced and dependable Accounting & Payroll Administrator to join our team in Fox Creek.

This full-time position will play an important role in managing the day-to-day accounting and payroll functions for SLI Logistics and its related companies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare weekly payment runs and vendor remittances
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Review and reconcile credit card transactions
• Review timesheets and process biweekly payroll
• Set up new employees and prepare source deductions
• Prepare owner/operator payments and settlements
• Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly/quarterly GST remittances
• Provide bookkeeping support for related companies
• Prepare deposits and assist with general office administration

What We're Looking For:
• Previous bookkeeping, accounting and/or payroll experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience with accounting and payroll software
• Experience in trucking or oilfield services is an asset
• Axon, Sage, Avanti and Concur SAP experience is an asset

Wow! We have been absolutely blown away by the incredible response to our K100E. Thank you to everyone who liked, commented and shared our post we made heading to the Brandt Truck & Trailer Tires and Iron truck show in Grande Prairie, Ab.

This 1989 Kenworth K100E, known as “Northern Sensation,” has a history almost as impressive as the truck itself. Originally purchased by Maurice in 1989, the truck was later brought back to life through FST Oilfield, with S&J Truck Sales completing the main restoration between 2011 and 2013.

In 2013, Northern Sensation appeared as Entry #301 at the PKY Truck Beauty Championship, where it earned its place as an award-winning show truck.

SLI Logistics was proud to acquire the unit in 2024. Since then, additional modifications have been completed by Spray Arc and Big Rig in Grande Prairie, continuing to build upon the incredible work and history that made this truck what it is today.

A special thank you goes to Chris for the countless hours and tremendous amount of care he puts into keeping this truck in show-ready condition. His pride in this truck shows every time it rolls out of the yard.

This iconic K100E will proudly live out its life as a semi-retired unit, part of the SLI Logistics fleet. If you see Chris rolling down the road, make sure you give them a wave!

Today is an amazing day for SLI! The concrete is being poured for the foundation of our new shop!

A strong foundation is built through hard work, determination, and the willingness to keep moving forward, even when the road hasn’t been easy. SLI has faced its share of challenging times, but every challenge placed in front of us has only made us stronger. We’ve worked hard, pushed through, and never lost sight of what we’re building toward.
