About Robert Made It:

I often teach young people the joys creating and wood working, rule #1- "good enough is never good enough, only perfection is good enough" Technical skills are just one aspect of the disciplines required to be a great wood worker. Learning to be patient, taking pride in every step of the process is equally important. Never rushing for the completion of a project but feeling

somewhat sad at the projects completion, this is when you know a woodworker has truly put his heart and soul into the piece. No matter the size or monetary value, each of my creations are pieces that make up the whole of my legacy, a fact forefront in my mind with everything I make.

Should of taken the picture when the table was full, (that didn’t last long!), putting this on FB was an afterthought but a good one! Hopefully it’ll make more people aware of the horrors in Ukraine.
I keep thinking how desperately “we” would be begging for help if it was “us” being tortured, r***d, children kidnapped and families slaughtered.
If my family responsibilities weren’t so serious I’d be there in person!
Did you know Ukraine has started making “combat fatigues & protective vest for pregnant women!!! Imagine that! Pregnant women on the front lines! This is why I feel so guilty sitting my capable ass at home every night.
Guess I try to do what I can to help, I hope everybody will.
Donating to “the Ukrainian defence fund” is one great way!
I said my piece.

“I’m back!”
Yes, finally able to get back in the shop.
I’ll have a limited number and selection of beautiful charcuterie boards ready for Thursday. Please contact me if you’d like to stop by my shop on Thursday or have any questions.
Sadly, so close to Christmas that I’m unable to take custom orders or even create any of my professional end grain cutting boards.
Having my machines sitting for 18 months means they’re now all in need of a full service and calibration before I can start creating my more complex pieces.
My sister Jax is now in a Toronto hospital. I’d like to thank everyone for their kind words, words of encouragement and prayers. They truly meant a lot to me, my family and most of all, “Jax”
Being so close to Christmas I almost decided not to bother creating any pieces, however, after 18 months of having my business closed, well let’s just say I figured I had to take a kick at the can no matter the results.

I’d also like to thank the many customers, “previous and future”who’ve remained in contact and continued to patiently await my return.
Thank you!
Your patronage and loyalty truly warmed my heart.
I wish you all a very safe and Merry Christmas.

Just want to update everybody and also thank everyone for their prayers, best wishes and positive vibes.
My Sister Jax is an amazing young woman! She’s incredibly strong and tenacious!
Jax has been showing some very positive and inspiring signs. She is yet able to speak or communicate but despite this, there have been many positive signs.
We continue to pray for her and send her all the positive vibes we can muster.
My mother and I have been down in NS and are very anxious to finish our mandatory 14 quarantine, just 8 days left and then we’ll be able to visit her.
The night before last Jax was transferred from Halifax hospital to Yarmouth hospital as it’s closer to her home.
Thank you again for all your prayers, best wishes and words of encouragement.

I know a lot of my little sisters friends follow me.
My sister Jacqueline.
I am sad to report Jax suffered a massive stroke sometime Sunday night - Tuesday evening.
We were unable to reach her and requested a friend go by to check on her.
He found her on the floor and unresponsive.
From examination and testing, doctors estimate she might have suffered the stroke 24-30 hours prior to being found.
We would like to know the last time during those days anybody had contact with her, our goal is to better pinpoint the time of the stroke.
Jax has survived emergency brain operation as is currently fighting for her life.
I ask,,,, I beg,, for your prayers and positive energy.
Please contact me (PM) if you’ve spoken with her over the past weekend.
Jax is currently in Halifax hospital.
My mother and I will be heading there tomorrow to start our 14 day mandatory quarantine.
Thank you
