On February 10th we have the “Getting Trashy Craft Event” where you’ll be able to make pins and valentines out of trash to celebrate love 💗

Some of these events include:
- Flee Market(s)
- Artist-Led Workshops
- Tie Dye Day
- Make-Your-Own Quilt Square, &
- TRASH Printmaking

This is Fatemeh (she/her). Fatemeh has the most superb hidden talent of being really good at check-ins 💙

She helps out by showing up to events, doing set up & take-down, and coordinating the collection of donations from within her own circles. We really couldn’t do it without her! 🥰

Wanted to share one of my favourite upcycles of 2022 ✨

This collage was made by casually pocketing random trash from throughout my day and setting them aside ✉️

My favourite materials here is the scrap sandpaper 💛

Although this was definitely the longest upcycle (I waited until December to start collaging), it was super fun to piece together!

I definitely suggest giving it a try! All you need is to find a ziplock (or envelop) for storing scraps, and a thrifted frame 🖼️

The Collective will be supplying all sorts of art supplies and collage materials
