They took the stage to discuss the incredible opportunities that lie ahead for Atlantic Canada in our transitioning economy. The focus of their conversation revolved around inclusive sustainable growth.

🔍 Exciting highlights to share from the Atlantic Economic Forum!

University of New Brunswick's Vaughan Chair, Herb Emery took the stage and dived into the fascinating trends shaping growth in Atlantic Canada. His insightful breakdown shed light on the challenges we must address as we move forward. 📈💡

Trent Vichie, CEO of EverWind Fuels NS, shared an exciting project centred around commercial green hydrogen and green ammonia production at Point Tupper, NS. Their aim is to cater to the German export market initially. Given the current global demand, it's estimated that we would need 300 similar-sized projects to replace non-green ammonia usage. In a similar fashion, this presents a tremendous opportunity for our ports in New Brunswick. 🌱🌍

This afternoon, we also had the privilege of listening to a captivating interview between Annette Verschuren, Chair and CEO of NRStor Inc, and Ken Langone, CEO of Invemed. Their insightful conversation delved into key topics and shed light on the future possibilities. Notably, former Prime Minister Mulroney was spotted in the front row, adding to the prestige of the event. 👥🌟

Trent Vichie, PDG d'EverWind Fuels NS, a fait part d'un projet passionnant axé sur la production commerciale d'hydrogène vert et d'ammoniac vert à Point Tupper, en Nouvelle-Écosse.
