Early in February, the SmartSkin team came together for the first annual SmartSummit in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Our Customer Success and Support teams from all around the world gathered to discuss company growth and key priorities for the coming years. The summit featured presentations from company leaders and involved breakout meetings where individual departments focused on their contributions to fostering success for SmartSkin.

It was an honour to have Head Coach of the Moncton Wildcats, Gardiner Mac Dougall, present on the importance of team culture and working with love, instil the motto of “Just Getting Started” and share anecdotes from his multitudes of experience in coaching teams to victory.

The SmartSummit provided an opportunity for teams across all areas to meet and align their long-term goals, discuss the importance of strengthening customer trust and growing our global presence. Through the Summit, our customer facing teams also gained a deeper understanding of SmartSkin’s technological intricacies through in-depth presentations by our software and engineering teams. The amalgamation of our diverse teams at the beginning of 2025 was successful in creating a more unified and motivated outlook towards a progressive future together as a company.

The SmartSummit marked a positive start to an even stronger company whose continuous efforts in achieving internal efficiency and optimization reflects on our sustained efforts to optimize manufacturing processes of customers worldwide.
