Eye on Comics

What was once a source for my comics reviews is now the place to be for live comics auctions!

Check out the biweekly live comics auctions - Sundays and Thursdays!

10/11/2026

There won't be a live auction tonight, as the family and I are headed to join other family members for a Thanksgiving scoff on the holiday weekend. Hope everyone has a similarly satisfying evening and meal. May your turkey be moist, gravy be plentiful and desserts be decadent!
Watch the page for an event listing for the next show!

OK, I was preparing for Sunday night's planned live auction, and it occurred to me that the Taylor Swift Sportsball Extravaganza will be happening at the same time. Is that fair to her and the helmeted warriors set to take the turf? I don't want to overshadow them.

Ahem, in other words, I got to thinking that maybe a lot of the Eye on Comics viewers might be otherwise engaged this particular Sunday. So please, reply in the comments here: do you still want to see a live Eye on Comics auction this Sunday night (Feb. 11)? I can do a show, but there's no point in doing all the prep work if only a handful of people can make it.

(I would have created a poll so people could answer, but apparently, that's no longer an option.)

From Silver Age gems and keys to rare variants to SLABS, tonight's auction will have something in store for every collector's taste!

Bad news, Eye on Comics followers. There won't be a live auction tonight. It's been a hell of a week.

Dental visit Tuesday led to a tooth extraction, but earlier that morning, I got a call that I'd been squeezed in for a colonoscopy Thursday. That required prep for the procedure to clean me out ahead of time. Everything went well, but I'm wiped out and didn't have time to get a complete auction lineup ready.

I hope you'll join me Sunday night for the next show.

06/29/2023

ALERT: I've moved tonight's auction a half hour later than usual to give myself time to get ready. Things will start at 7:30 p.m. EST/8:30 p.m. AST. The event listing has been updated as well.

My home away from home for the next couple of days at the East Coast Comic Expo! Stop by and say hi -- and pick up some comics (if only to spare me additional back pain)!

06/04/2023

No live auction tonight, folks, as I'm in preparation mode for next weekend's East Coast Comic Expo in Moncton!

If you're in the region and are planning on attending, let me know! I can bring winnings for past buyers to the show, avoiding shipping charges. Furthermore, let me know what you want to see, so I can decide on what I need to bring to exhibit at the Eye on Comics vendor table!

11/27/2022

I have a vendor table this weekend at the Big Country Comic Expo 2022 in Fredericton, but since I'll be set up there all day Sunday, I won't have a chance to prep a show for Sunday night. So look for the next live auction later in the week!
