🔥 Training. Dedication. Commitment.

This weekend, Firefighters Helen Stoney, Thomas McIntyre, Steve Hachey and Deputy Chief Walker accompanied Chief and Captain McNally to the NBCC Fire Workshop at the Miramichi Training Grounds.

Our members took part in live-fire training scenarios, including victim searches under live-fire conditions. 🔥🧑‍🚒

Training like this isn’t easy, but our members continue to give their time, push themselves and build their skills so they can be ready when our community needs them most.

And of course, we had to take some time to celebrate Steve and Helen’s birthdays! 🎂🥳

What a way to celebrate — doing what you love, with the people you train and serve alongside! 🚒❤️

September 11, 2001. 25 years later… we remember. ❤️‍🔥

Today marks 25 years since a day that changed the world forever.

We remember the 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, 8 EMTs and paramedics, and nearly 3,000 civilians who never made it home.

They were parents, spouses, children, siblings, friends and coworkers. They went to work that morning expecting to come home.

Instead, they ran toward danger while others were running away.

For those of us in the emergency services, their sacrifice is a reminder of why we answer the call, why we train, and why we never take for granted the opportunity to come home.

From all of us at Gagetown Fire, we honour the fallen, remember their families, and carry their stories with us.

25 years later.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸❤️‍🔥🚒
