When your child's teacher cries during graduation, you realize just how much love, patience, and care they have poured into your child. Their tears say, "I'm proud of you," but they also say, "I'm going to miss you."

And that's when I started crying too.

My boy is graduating from elementary school.

As parents, we spend years hoping we're doing enough, wondering if we're raising kind and good human beings. So when Ethan's teachers told me, "You raised a very good boy. He is polite, respectful, always willing to help others, and kind to his classmates and teachers," my heart was full.

Those words meant more to me than any report card ever could.

I still remember your first two years in French school. There were many tears and many conversations about wanting to move to an English school because it felt so hard. As your mom, it broke my heart to see you struggle. But you kept going. You persevered. You showed up every day and gave it your best, even when it wasn't easy.

And today, here you are.

You did it.

I am so proud of you, Ethan. Truly proud beyond words. Sometimes I look at you and wonder where the years went. It feels like just yesterday I was holding your little hand on your first day of school, and now you're standing here ready for your next chapter.

Mr. Mario and Ms. Francy, thank you for believing in Ethan, encouraging him through the challenges, and helping him grow into the young boy he is today. French wasn't always easy, but with your guidance, patience, and support, he made it through. You are a very important part of his success story.

As Ethan closes this chapter, he leaves elementary school carrying more than lessons and grades. He leaves with confidence, friendships, beautiful memories, and the knowledge that he was supported by teachers who genuinely cared.

Now high school is just around the corner.

And if I'm being honest, I'm excited and scared at the same time. Excited to see all the amazing things ahead of you, and scared because time seems to be moving way too fast. But if there's one thing you've shown us, it's that you can do hard things.

So go chase your dreams, Ethan. Be kind. Be respectful. Keep helping others. Stay true to yourself.

We are so proud of the young man you are becoming, and I know you are going to do great things.

Congratulations, Ethan. ❤️

To all my kids' teachers and daycare educators, thank you for the work you do. We appreciate you everyday!

Six years ago, on Mother’s Day, God gave me one of the greatest gifts of my life — you. ❤️

Our little covid baby who came into this world during such uncertain times, yet brought so much light, laughter, and joy into our home.

You are the funniest little boy, always making us laugh with your silly jokes, big personality, and sweet heart. Watching you grow these past 6 years has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Happy 6th birthday to our sunshine boy. You made me a little more grateful, a little stronger, and a whole lot happier. We love you endlessly.

As a Catholic mom, there are so many moments of wondering—if I’m doing enough, teaching enough, guiding them the right way. But today, God gently reminded me that He is working in their hearts in ways I may not always see.

Despite their busy schedules, they are always ready to make time to serve the Lord—and that alone humbles me so deeply. Seeing them serve with such sincerity and devotion… it’s more than just a moment. It’s a glimpse of the faith slowly taking root in them—the prayers, the values, and the love for God we try to nurture every single day.

Lord, thank You for trusting me with these precious souls.
Thank You for allowing me to witness their journey of faith, their willingness to serve, and their love for You growing little by little.

May they continue to stay close to You, Jesus.
May they continue to fulfill their purpose and honor Your name in all that they do.

And whatever dreams You place in their hearts—big or small—may those dreams always honor Your name. As they chase and achieve those dreams, may they always choose to glorify You in every step.

Make them strong, oh Jesus. The world may be cruel at times, but please always remind them that You love them, that You are with them, and that they are never alone.

And if one day they forget everything I’ve tried to teach them… I pray they never forget You. 🤍
