MOVING🏠

Moving to a new home can be such an exciting experience, but unpacking and finding the right place for everything before you run out of patience is no easy feat!

This client had a few things unpacked and a few boxes of things that needed a home in her kitchen and bathroom.
After our session, she was ready to continue unpacking with many of her items already in their place and organized, making it easier to add to what was already there. This beautiful home is set up for functionality and is easily accessible for the whole family!

Bedroom closet overhaul 😍

This beautiful walk-in closet now has so much space free space and is fully accessible!

Clothes are organized by season, colour and purpose, making getting dressed in the morning a total breeze.

Some clothing was removed and placed into empty drawers that were available in a dresser to allow all t-shirts and exerise pants to be stored together.

This family was thrilled with the final results (there may have been clapping involved) and rediscovered some awesome pieces they had completely forgotten about over the years! 👏

Allow me to introduce myself👋

My name is Rita-Marie, the face behind Sprig of Sage Organization Solutions. It's been almost a year since I started this small business, so I thought it might be about time to share a little about myself!

I'm a teacher by day, passionate about my career and all the rewarding and challenging aspects that come along with it. Working with kids while organizing and teaching them the skills they need to maintain their space after we have worked on it together has been an amazing experience!

My appreciation for the functionality of organization made this an easy transition and makes this job rewarding in its own right, transforming a space and bringing about a lighter and fresher feeling to those who are in it.

To my amazing clients over the past year: it's been a pleasure helping you reach your organization goals, thank you for trusting me with your space!

Sometimes it's not about having too much stuff, it's about having things organized in a way that best suits the needs of your whole family.

Some switching of cupboards and drawers, the use of clear storage containers (and of course a little bit of purging) gave this kitchen just what it needed to thrive!

It's been a minute since there has been a new post...what's going on??

Well, it's September my friends...and I'm sure my fellow kindergarten teachers out there might agree that it's also one of the busiest and most exhausting times of the year. Some children are starting school for the first time and for some, leaving home for the first time too! September is full of transitions, new routines and new rules for everyone.

Kindergarten is all about learning to self-regulate, become more independent and figuring out how solve creative and situational problems. I decided to put the time into reorganizing the classroom this year, in order to set these kids up for success and make it as easy at possible to keep our classroom clean and functional for everyone!

It's only been two weeks and they are already reading labels, colour-coding and returning baskets to where they belong all on their own...proud teacher moment 🥲

Basement Face-Lift 📸🧹🌿

Sometimes we need a little motivation to let go of things that we no longer use or need. What better catalyst than the idea of a few extra bucks to get the ball rolling!

This family decided to organize the items in this playroom by what they would like to keep, what they think should be donated and what they would like to try to sell at a street-wide garage sale. Bins were labeled and with a little help, the kids went through the entire play area to find a spot for all of their treasures.

There is a lot more room to play in this basement (and a few more bucks in a collage fund)! 💸

Garage Overhaul Part One:📸

It's so easy to let an open space like a garage become cluttered and unorganized with many items not having an official "home" in the space.

We cleared off, cleaned up and organized a set of shelves and created a cleaning cupboard to properly store the cleaning supplies being kept on the stairs.

What is not pictured here are the bags of items that this household was ready to let go of! 👏👏👏

We left this garage with plenty of extra space to park, all items off the floor and a clear and safe entrance to the house.

Clutter-Free Creative Kids Corner 👶👩‍🎨📸

This creative corner was not being fully utilized in this awesome space because of surrounding storage issues.

All baskets were emptied, cleaned, sorted and placed back to make all materials easily accessible, not to mention making tidy-up time a breeze for the whole family!

Home Office Transformation 🧹📸🌿

This family wanted to better utilize their spare room by turning it into a home office and creative zone😍

With a little imagination and moving a few pieces of furniture around, we were able to make the homeowners vision come to life!

The closet was completely emptied, decluttered and organized to get rid of what is no longer needed and to have easy access to all crafting material in a flash. This family was ready to say goodbye to some items and you can really see the difference👀
