Hello my fellow mead makers, and those who are interested in the mead that I make, I have a bit of bad news. I was in a motorcycle accident a week and a half ago in Ottawa participating in the Motorcycle Ride for Dad. I suffered multiple fractures in my left wrist and right ankle. I had the surgeries to repair the damage and I am now recovering at home in Georgetown. My Motorcycle is not OK, but I will be OK.
All that to say that my mead making is taking a pause for now, but I will be back at it as soon as I can put weight on my right ankle which is probably gonna be 6-8 weeks. Happy brewing, my friends!

Here are some of the mead labels I have created for brews past, current and future. A couple are generic labels where I can write in the specific mead or cider details. Other labels have been created for a specific batch. Some are smaller one gallon and others are seven gallon batches. A one gallon jug is enough for four 750ml bottles. The seven gallon batches I am working on like Santa’s Cane and Better together will yield something like 28 bottles!

Two recent batches bottled and corked and ready to go! A Summertime Mead made with pineapples, peaches, strawberries and cherries at 9% ABV and a Mango Mead at 8% ABV. Both were made last year and bulk aged a bit before being bottled.
