Big shout out to Pat Dahle and his crew. They spent the week fire smarting around my property. Very good job, professional, and reasonable rates.
I highly recommend Pat and gang if you need any fire smarting done as well Pat does sprinkler designs and installs for fire surpression too

Good morning to all
So far we have cleaned up two properties at Gun lake
This picture is the property that was the Center of the fire tornado as seen on the news and you tube
We are going to be at the lake all winter logging, piling and burning to help get this all cleaned up before spring

Gun lake fire cleanup

We are moving into gun lake on Thursday to start cleanup on various properties , I have aligned with a friend from lillooet that is a logger as well
Should there be an intrest in recovering any costs from wood cleanup, as well as a local source that will purchase the wood for other uses .
This will be very cost effect for all property owners.
I do have a question for all, had anyone sourced an aspestos clean up company, I have contact some of my colleagues but they are all busy. I have a couple clients that need some recovery and bagging of this and I do have the endorsement for hauling it to land fill,
As well if anyone has some to be hauled please let me know and I’ll look after you.
We will be at gun lake with all our resources starting Thursday and plan to be there till it’s done, or to much snow to complete .

We are discounting all work for clean up and rebuilds at gun lake
I personally know most of the owners effected and have in the past worked on your properties

Hurley FSR expect delays today

Two tow trucks will be out on the hurley about the 8 Km to recover a gravel truck that rolled over yesterday. Expect delays as they will have the road blocked for a while

Graveling has been completed for this year.
We will watch weather and may do some more grading from summit to 16 Km if it thaws out.

Hurley river gravel project update.

I ask again for people to SLOW DOWN when going through the construction sites we are working on, now slow means about 20 Km and hour not 60 Km and hour.

When gravel trucks are approaching on the road and it’s narrow please pull over and let them buy, 30 seconds out of your trip so we can safely do our job.

Yesterday a pickup traveling to Gold bridge met a gravel truck in a narrower part of the road, the pickup crowded the center of the road and could have moved over more . The gravel truck was forced to the outside of the road and forced off the road to avoid a collision. The truck rolled over and went down the bank about 50 feet. The driver is lucky to be alive and was transported to Pemberton Hospital for injury’s .

Please have respect for our crews and what we are doing , we are trying to make the road better for all of us.
