Caribou Patrol Program

Caribou Patrol Program The program was established to contribute to recovery efforts for woodland caribou in the west-central region of Alberta. Collect data on wildlife sightings.

The Aseniwuche Winewak Nation established this Indigenous-led program in 2012 to contribute to recovery efforts for woodland caribou in and around the Grande Cache area of west-central Alberta. The objectives of this project are to:

2. Enhance awareness of carib

ou management through education and outreach initiatives for 3 specific user groups: the public, industry and students (school groups); and
3.
