Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to reflect on the painful history and lasting impacts of the residential school system. We honour the survivors, remember the children who never returned home and acknowledge the strength of their families and communities who continue to live with this legacy.

At Budget Propane, we recognize that our operations in Gravenhurst take place on the traditional territory of the Anishnaabeg, which includes the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations. These are also lands that were historically cared for and traversed by the Huron-Wendat and the Haudenosaunee. We further acknowledge the enduring presence of the Wahta Mohawk First Nation and the Moon River Métis, who continue to call this region home today.
