As the Ontario Mine Rescue Provincial Competition comes to a close, we would like to congratulate all participants for their outstanding effort and dedication.

We also extend a special congratulations to the Glencore Sudbury INO Craig Mine team on winning this year’s provincial competition.

It has been an honour for Magna Mining to serve as the host site for this year’s event.

This year, Magna Mining introduced three awards to recognize outstanding contributions:

For the individual who demonstrates accountability, leadership, and a strong commitment to safety.

Team First Award
For the individual who consistently supports others, communicates effectively, and puts the team ahead of themselves.

Ready Award
For the individual who shows exceptional preparedness, skill, and composure under pressure.

We also recognize our trial team for their professionalism, skill, and commitment to safety.

This award belongs to our team, the people behind Magna who bring dedication, skill, and commitment to everything we do. It also reflects the strength of our partnerships with contractors, suppliers, Indigenous communities, and local stakeholders.

Since founding Magna Mining Inc. in Sudbury, our focus has been on building a responsible, forward looking mining company right here in the Basin. We’re proud of what we’ve built together and excited for what’s ahead.

We’re proud to have hit the course at the 2026 SudburyRocks Race, Run or Walk with Team Magna Mining!

What a day!

We’re thrilled to share that the team has raised $5,517.68 to date. With Magna Mining matching up to $3,000, that brings us to over $8,517.68 and counting in support of the Health Sciences North Foundation.

This year marked the biggest race yet, with more than 2,200 participants showing up strong!

To everyone who ran, you crushed it.

Team Magna Mining Inc. has been warming up for the SudburyROCKS!!! Marathon taking place on Sunday, May 24, 2026!

Last year, every stride was powered by teamwork, community spirit and a shared commitment to supporting a great cause. This year, we are once again lacing up our running shoes and we are asking for your support to help us reach our fundraising goal.
