For over 7 decades the Northeastern Ontario Construction Association has provided services to over 300 member companies throughout the province.

Since its conception in 1948 the Northeastern Ontario Construction Association (NOCA) has been a powerful advocate for the construction industry. NOCA is an ICI association supporting contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, consulting firms, and training and personnel providers. The association promotes member interests and provides specialized services to help all members succee

d in today's ever-changing construction industry. NOCA is constantly working to improve liaisons with local, provincial and federal government which in turn helps to determine comprehensible construction laws for Northern Ontario contractors.

NOCA’s Spring Golf Tournament⛳️

What a fantastic day at Timberwolf Golf Club for our annual Spring Golf Tournament last Thursday! With beautiful weather and a full course, this year’s event was another great success👏

A big thank you to The Keg Steakhouse + Bar for once again starting the day off right with their famous Caesars, and to our newest addition, DJ BaselineJack, who set the tone at kickoff with great energy!🎤

Last Friday, NOCA’s Women in Construction Committee hosted the EmpowHER: Building Foundations for the Future Luncheon to celebrate Women in Construction Week!👷‍♀️💛

Members connected, took part in discussion activities, and shared ideas on how to support women in construction. A big thank you to our dedicated committee members, enthusiastic participants and to Englobe for generously sponsoring the lunch!

✨NOCA’s Women in Construction Committee✨

Proud to share a recent initiative supporting young women exploring careers in the skilled trades.

👷‍♀️Through this initiative, the Committee donated women’s safety glasses and women’s coveralls to four local school boards:
- Sudbury Catholic District School Board
- Rainbow District School Board
- Conseil Scolaire Catholique Nouvelon
- Conseil Scolaire Catholique Franco-Nord (North Bay)

🦺This donation helps ensure students have access to proper-fitting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as they participate in hands-on learning environments.

🙏A sincere thank you to Vallen Canada for their generous donation of women’s coveralls and Wesco who supplied the women’s safety glasses, making this initiative possible.

Properly fitting PPE plays a critical role in safe, effective training environments. The Committee is proud to support students and educators as they prepare to enter and help strengthen our industry.
