Another successful reconsideration request!

Our client's Temporary Resident Visa application was initially refused.

We prepared a detailed reconsideration request highlighting the material evidence that was not properly considered. Following our submission, IRCC reopened the file and OVERTURNED the refusal decision.

This case is a reminder that refusals can sometimes results from factual errors or overlooked documents. A refusal is not always the end of the road, and in the right circumstances, a well-supported reconsideration request may lead to APPROVALS!

According to the Toronto Star, Ottawa has soft - launched a new pathway to Permanent Residence for up to 33,000 temporary foreign workers (TR to PR). The program targets workers in the in-demand sectors.

In an interview with the immigration Minister Lena Metlage Diab, more details about the program are expected soon as Canada continues adjusting it immigration policies.

If you may qualify, start preparing your documents and requirements NOW and be ready for an early submission once the full guidelines are released.

Be prepared, have this documents ready by end of this month:

• Valid Passport
• Work Permit & Immigration Status documents
• Proof of Canadian Work Experience (job letters, pay slips, T4s, NOA)
• Language Test Results (IELTS/CELPIP)
