WOW Those are HUGE marshmallows!

Things aren’t always what they seem. 👀

Because at first glance, it looks like these are GIANT marshmallows sitting in a farmer’s field.

Nope.

Just hay bales, all wrapped up like they’re ready for a very large s’mores party. 🏕⛺🔥

And it got me thinking…

Sometimes things aren’t what they look like at first.

An opportunity can look strange.
Different.
Maybe even a little “What the bleeep is THAT?”

But you won’t know what’s inside until you take a closer look.

Kind of makes you wonder what else we’ve been driving past without really seeing it.

Now excuse me while I go find the chocolate and graham wafers. 😂

Friday’s plans look a little different around here today.

I picked up this cute round puzzle because that orange cat looks SO much like my Simba. 🧡🧡

And look at the pieces… some of them are actually shaped like cats! 🐈

So sometime Friday, you’ll probably find me at the table, puzzle pieces everywhere, the soaps playing in the background, and quite possibly my hair still in curlers from the night before. 😂

Yep. This is what we call living the glamorous life.

And you know what?

I’m pretty okay with it. ❤️

It was a great little stay-cation.
Or should I say… stay CAT-tion?

Nala was everywhere with me, of course. Because apparently I can’t do anything alone around here. 🐈‍⬛

Had no idea what was ahead.

I didn’t know where life would take me, who I’d meet, the crazy things I’d do, or how quickly the years would fly by.

There have been a few twists and turns along the way. Some I planned. Some definitely weren’t on the agenda.

Looking at this picture makes me wonder what I would tell her if I could go back for five minutes.

Probably…

Enjoy the ride. It goes a whole lot faster than you think. ❤️

What people think I do:

💻 Sit on Facebook all day

Shuffle products📦 around my imaginary warehouse

Chase people down 🏃🏼‍♀️

What I actually do:

Learn about social media

Work on my business in the pockets of my day when I have time

Message with people

Follow a system

Build something that gives me another option

Not nearly as exciting as the imaginary warehouse, I know lol but way more enjoyable!

I planted a couple of random pots of seeds in the late spring.

Not having any idea what would actually sprout or grow..

And then? A lil green sprout!

Day by day the stalk got a little thicker, a little taller.

Little by little and I was afraid the frost would get her before she opened her beautiful head

I had no clue what the finished flower was going to look like.

And then… THIS. 🌻

It got me thinking about this business of mine.

When I first started, I didn't have the whole picture either.

I didn't know exactly where it would take me.
I didn't have everything figured out.
I just knew I wanted to plant a little something for my future.

So I started.

And I'm still learning.
Still growing.
Still figuring things out as I go.

But maybe that's the point.

You don't always need to know exactly what the end result will look like.

Sometimes you just have to plant the seed and give it a chance to grow. 🌱

And if it turns out half as pretty as this sunflower...

I'll be pretty happy.

I almost didn’t do this.

Not because I didn’t want it.

Because I had about 47 reasons why I should wait.

I needed to learn more.
I needed more time.
I wasn’t techy enough.
What if I failed?

Turns out, waiting for the perfect time is a pretty good way to make sure nothing changes.

Funny how the things that change our lives rarely start with us feeling completely ready.

Maybe YOU are ready! Let me know...
