KuBank commissioned in Callosa del Segura, Spain

We are pleased to announce the successful commissioning of one KuBank energy storage system in Callosa del Segura, realized in close cooperation with our partner DPV Energy.
At this food production facility where operations run continuously across multiple shifts, reliable and efficient energy management is essential.

With KuBank deployed and commissioned on-site, the system plays a central role in optimizing energy usage throughout the entire production cycle. By storing excess energy during periods of lower demand or higher generation, KuBank ensures that power is available exactly when it is needed most, whether during peak processing hours, nighttime shifts, or periods of fluctuating load.

This enables the factory to:
• Optimize energy consumption across all shifts, ensuring stable and consistent operations
• Reduce peak demand and energy costs by intelligently balancing load profiles
• Increase energy independence, making better use of available on-site generation
• Enhance operational resilience, maintaining production continuity even during grid instability

The system plays a key role in balancing energy supply and demand across different shifts, helping to ensure stable operations while contributing to a more sustainable and resilient industrial process.

We thank DPV Energy and everyone involved for the strong collaboration and smooth ex*****on on site.

Reliable energy storage for healthcare: KuBank commissioned in Siano, Italy

We are pleased to announce the successful commissioning of a KuBank system at Centro LARS Siano, a healthcare and rehabilitation centre in Siano, Italy, realised in close cooperation with our partner Progress Impianti Group.

Medical facilities operate 24/7 and rely on a continuous, stable energy supply. High energy consumption, critical equipment, and the need for uninterrupted operations make reliability not optional but essential. This is where energy storage makes a real difference.

With KuBank, the centre can maximise the use of locally generated solar energy, reduce dependence on the grid during peak hours, and lower operational energy costs, while supporting a cleaner and more sustainable healthcare infrastructure.

Commissioning is a critical milestone in every energy storage project. It is the moment when technology, engineering, and real-world operation come together, ensuring that the system is fully integrated, tested under real conditions, and ready to deliver safe, reliable, and optimised performance from day one.

We thank Progress Impianti Group and everyone involved for the strong collaboration and smooth on-site ex*****on.

From product design to commissioning and operation, Canadian Solar delivers energy solutions that perform, today and for the future.

If you are visiting Intersolar in Germany from 23–25 June 2026, visit our booth B2.250 to learn more about KuBank and our PV and energy storage solutions.

EMEA Project Insight: Maximising Energy Yield Across Rooftop and Carport Installations with TOPBiHiKu6 CS6.2‑66TB Bifacial Modules

The New Concept Mining / Epiroc project in Johannesburg, South Africa showcases how Canadian Solar’s advanced module technology can be applied across complex C&I sites to maximise energy yield and overall system performance.

Designed across four active buildings, this 641 kWp installation combines rooftop arrays with large bespoke cantilever carport structures, making full use of available space while maintaining operational functionality. The system integrates 1,089 Canadian Solar bifacial TOPCon TOPBiHiKu6 CS6.2‑66TB modules, selected for their performance and adaptability across varied mounting environments.

The bifacial design enables additional energy generation from reflected light, particularly effective in elevated carport structures where rear‑side exposure is increased, contributing to consistent performance across the site.

We thank Sunbird Solar, Lumasol and all project partners for the successful delivery.

With optimal compatibility and streamlined installation, Canadian Solar provides solar modules, inverters, energy storage systems and related services. Whether you're working on residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), or utility-scale projects, our wide portfolio simplifies procurement and system design.
