It looks like just a pile of clothes, but...

Every holiday season, Blue North chooses a cause to support. This year, we are collecting clothing for the Anishinaabe community of Asubpeeschoseewagong/Grassy Narrows First Nation. It’s north of Kenora, near the Manitoba border. The community of about 1500 people has, for many years, been deeply affected by toxic mercury leaks into its river system and illegal logging on its lands. The nearest town is two hours away and temperatures are regularly -40. ❄️ Here's hoping that you and yours are enjoying warmth and comfort this season.
