Nathan Slik

Nathan Slik is a two-time Past President of the Auctioneers Association of Ontario (AAO) and has served on the AAO Board of Directors for the past six years, contributing his leadership and experience in nearly every board role within the association.

Nathan was also honoured as the 2024 AAO Member of the Year, recognizing his dedication and continued support of the auction profession.

Although Nathan is not currently associated with an active auction company, he remains an engaged and passionate member of the AAO. Nathan is a strong advocate for the importance of our association and the role it plays in supporting and strengthening the auction industry.

Robyn currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Auctioneers Association of Ontario (AAO) and has been actively involved in the auction industry for many years. Jason McIntosh

Jason McIntosh is the owner and operator of JMAC Auctions in Peterborough, Ontario. He graduated from the Canadian Auction College in Barrie in 2011, where he began his career in the auction industry and completed an apprenticeship with Doug Mitchell Auctions that same year.

Jason is also a Certified Personal Property Appraiser and is passionate about the auction industry. He enjoys showcasing his auctioneering skills at a variety of live charity events throughout Peterborough and the surrounding areas. In 2020, JMAC Auctions expanded to host online auction sales, which can be found on HiBid as Jason McIntosh Auctions.

Jason has been a proud member of the Ontario Auctioneers Association since graduating in 2011. He is dedicated to growing his business and continuing his education through programs such as the Certified Auction Institute and the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group. Jason is also passionate about promoting the auction industry and helping others learn more about the opportunities available within the AAO.

🎤 As a Board Member, Jason has served in several roles over the years and is well known for organizing the Friday Evening Fun Auction at the annual AAO Convention.

Dave Jacob

We are proud to recognize Dave Jacob, long-time member of the AAO Board of Directors.

Dave owns Jacob Auctions Ltd. in Mitchell, Ontario, where he conducts farm equipment, real estate, estate, car, and livestock auctions. Remarkably, he began auctioneering at just 13 years old and his passion for the chant is still going strong today.

Over the years, Dave has served the AAO in every board role, including President. He is also the Master of Ceremonies for our annual Ontario Auctioneers Championship. A role he carries with professionalism and pride.
His achievements include:

We are proud to share that on Saturday, during our Ontario Auctioneers Championship in Wallenstein, ON, we raised $2,600 in support of the Waterloo Region Food Bank!

That contribution equals approximately 5,200 meals for individuals and families in our community!

Thank you to all of our bidders and supporters who came out to support not only the Auctioneers Association of Ontario, but also the important local initiatives we believe in giving back to.

Today we are proud to recognize Krista Richards, our Immediate Past President of the Auctioneers Association of Ontario.
Krista’s leadership helped guide the AAO through important seasons of growth, collaboration, and industry advancement. Her dedication to professionalism, education, and supporting auctioneers across Ontario has left a lasting impact on our association.

In addition to her leadership within the AAO, Krista is the Co-Founder of the Canadian Auction College and a long-time supporter and advocate for the Auctioneers Association of Ontario. Her commitment to education and strengthening the auction profession continues to shape the next generation of auctioneers across Canada.
