Its tax season! Have you filed your 2022 income tax yet? Don’t forget to file it before April 30, 2023!

Some people who have just came to Canada may think that only permanent residence or people who have obtained a passport from that country, need to file taxes, but this is a misconception. Even a short-term visa, whether a student or work visa, as long as it stays in Canada for more than 183 days in a year, is required to file a tax return.

In fact, some communities provide free tax preparation services to people with lower incomes or student groups, everyone can go on www.canada.ca or the nearest library to ask for the free services.

The free service is only available to persons with simple tax status, if you are self-employed or have overseas asset, it is recommended that you find a professional accountant to do it for you.

Today, we are going to show you a private language institute located in Halifax, Canada, which teaches English as the second language. ILI "International Language Institute" was founded in 1983, which was one of the oldest language training institutions in Canada. It is also the official French training center recognized by the Canadian government and the earliest teacher English training center in Canada certified by Cambridge University. ILI is authorized by the Council of Britain as an official IELTS test center and has partnerships with several higher education institutions Faculty of Medicine, Dalhousie University.
