Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! Halifax Guitar Tech and Repair will be accepting appointments beginning next week. Every day of the week, from 12 pm - 8 pm
We are offering basic setups and complimentary cleaning for $40.00 per instrument. And have additional services as well.
We are “By appointment only” as we work from a residential location. But are working on setting up a better booking system to accommodate your needs quickly and efficiently!

Hi musicians of Nova Scotia! Just a quick update regarding our services.
We’re working hard to open our books, and take clients as soon as possible. We’ve had a few bumps in the road, but it looks like we’ll be available to set your instruments up, and do basic repairs very very soon.

The larger, more time consuming and intricate jobs will be given to another local technician ie: Painting, Re-Fretting, Whole restorations. We’re still looking for a good local luthier that we can refer you over to, someone who we can trust and create a strong working relationship with.

For now, we’re hoping to be doing work beginning early this May, including playability setups, gentle fret work, full aging and relic’ing done 100% by hand, full hardware and paint buffing/cleaning, most pickup installations and swaps, plus other services to be listed when we become fully available to serve your needs.

We work with all budgets and believe that a functioning guitar should never be an impossible, or stressful thing to obtain.

HFX guitar tech and repair is owned by a working musician who has spent his entire life in the music industry. And engineers, as well as composes and performs music as his main gig, second to Luthierie.

He understands the importance of guitar maintenance. But more than that, genuinely loves all things music.

The second member of the HFX guitar tech and repair team is a musician, and incredibly talented visual artist.

We are a “Mom and Pop” team, minus the kids!

We are looking forward to meeting, and working with our fellow Nova Scotian musicians. And will be posting advertisements asap.

We’re also looking forward to working with your audio engineering needs, your music composition, and session instrumentalist needs! More on that later.

Winnipeg guitar tech and repair is on a short break and is not taking any new clients for the next couple of weeks as we are working on painting projects, as well, our founder is recovering from major surgery.
