Apples straight off the trees, roughly chopped and into the slow cooker with a little cinnamon. 🍎

First batch of applesauce of the season is officially underway… and the house is already starting to smell amazing. 😋

One of those simple little things that makes it feel like fall is just around the corner. 🍂

A quiet walk.
Sun shining.
Birds chirping.
Fresh air.
A happy dog.
No rushing.
No traffic.
No one needing anything from me.
And nowhere else I have to be for the next little while.

Got to meet up with my mentor at the lake Friday evening as she was passing through on her way home from spending a week with her grandbaby in Saskatchewan.

And better yet, she joined us for a leisurely breakfast Saturday morning!

I loved sharing ideas, thoughts, opinions and plans with this amazing woman. There’s something so powerful about like-minded women coming together — not only to learn from one another and grow our businesses, but to connect, encourage each other and build a genuine relationship.

I’m already looking forward to doing this again soon… hopefully with even more of us around the table. 🩷

This is what it actually looks like… 😂

All dressed and ready to go…

…and apparently I have just enough time to vacuum the living room. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Because why would I simply sit down for five minutes when I could notice ONE MORE THING that needs to be done?

I swear, women have this special ability to turn “I have 10 minutes to spare” into “How did it get so late?” 😂

And then we wonder why we’re tired.

I get every other Friday off, and I look forward to it way more than I probably should. 😂

No alarm.
No rushing.
No watching the clock.
Just a day that feels like mine.

And sitting here this morning, I was thinking…

If one extra day of freedom feels this good, imagine having more say over how ALL your days look.

I don’t think I want more “stuff” at this stage of life. I think I just want more TIME. 💜

I’m curious… at this stage of life, what would you prefer more of — things or time?

This was only a month ago, and somehow it already feels like I need another vacation. 😂

Nova Scotia, my sister, the water, and absolutely nowhere we needed to be.

Those are the days I wish had a pause button. ❤️
