🍂 September is my New Year! 🍂

I know the calendar says January is the start of a new year…but for me, it has always felt like September. ❤️

Maybe it’s because fall is my favourite time of year. 🍁 The cooler mornings, changing colours, cozy days and that feeling that a new season is beginning.

September just feels like a fresh start to me. ✨

It’s a time when I naturally want to reset, refocus and think about what I want the next year to look like.

And that includes my online business. 💻

I’m setting some new goals, looking at what I want to accomplish, where I want to grow and what I need to do differently to get there. I’m excited to keep learning, keep challenging myself and keep building a business that supports the life I want to enjoy.

I don’t need January 1st to make a new beginning.

September 1st works just fine for me! 🍂💛

Here’s to a new season, new goals, new possibilities…and another chance to go after the things that matter to us.

🏌️‍♀️🏆 Well… this happened! 🏆🏌️‍♀️

Yesterday was our Club Championship, and I had a great round on a pretty tough course — and for the first time, I won Low Net! 🎉⛳️

Such an awesome day with great people, lots of laughs, and of course, lots of golf! 💙

It also reminded me of one of the reasons I’m so grateful I started my online business.

I didn’t start this business because I wanted to replace my income. I started it because I wanted to supplement my retirement income so I could continue doing the things I love — and golf is definitely high on that list! ⛳️❤️

Because, as every golfer knows… golf isn’t exactly getting any cheaper! 😂

Having that extra income gives me the freedom and peace of mind to play as much as I want and enjoy my retirement the way I had hoped I would.

Today I’m feeling pretty darn grateful — for the win, for a wonderful day, and for the freedom to keep doing what I love. 🥰🏆⛳️

This is what retirement should be about — having the freedom to enjoy the things that make you happy. 💙

A good story about a father & son relationship in a small Nova Scotia town.

I am currently reading "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah and really enjoying it

I've heard this many times over the years: If you're scared or nervous, it means you care. 💙

And I believe there's a lot of truth in that.

I know that when I really care about doing my best and succeeding at something, that's often when the nerves show up—especially when I'm stepping outside my comfort zone.

I was really hesitant about starting my online business. It took me quite a while to finally take action. But once I took those first few steps, it started to get easier.

Do I still get nervous sometimes? Absolutely! I'm not exactly where I want to be yet, and I still have goals I'm working toward. But I remind myself to keep showing up, keep learning and keep moving forward. 🌱

Because the reason I'm nervous is also the reason I keep going—I really care about succeeding and reaching the goals I've set for myself. 💫

Are you hesitating because you're nervous about trying something new? That's completely natural. Sometimes the hardest part is simply taking that first step.

And then, before we know it, weeks, months—or even years—have gone by, and we’re still in the same place.

The truth is, there may never be a perfect time.

It was a beautiful, toasty day on the golf course yesterday! ☀️⛳️

We even had a little excitement when our balls landed under a tree with an eagle’s nest. 🦅 Mama eagle was NOT impressed with us being there, so needless to say, we got out of there pretty quickly! 😂

If you’ve been following my page for a while, you probably already know that I LOVE GOLF! 💙⛳️

And, like just about everything else these days, golf has gotten more expensive. But when I retired, I made a promise to myself that I would continue doing the things I love and enjoying the lifestyle I worked so hard for.

That’s just one of the many reasons I started my online business. It gives me an additional source of income and, more importantly, peace of mind knowing I can continue saying YES to the things that bring me joy. 💛

Golf, travel, time with family and friends, new experiences… retirement is meant to be enjoyed!

I’m so grateful I found this opportunity — and the wonderful community that came along with it. 🩵

✨ “I am working on me, for me.” ✨

When I first went looking for a way to earn income online, my goal was pretty simple — I wanted to create additional income for my retirement years so I could enjoy this chapter of life with less financial stress.

But along the way, I discovered something I wasn't expecting... I found so much more. 💙

I’ve made wonderful friendships with people I now call business partners. I’ve learned new skills, stepped outside my comfort zone, gained confidence and continued to grow in ways I never expected.

Yes, the opportunity to earn additional income is an important part of why I started — but today, I realize this journey has become about so much more than money.

It’s about challenging myself.
It’s about learning.
It’s about growing.
It’s about believing there is still so much ahead of me. 🌱

At this stage of my life, I can truly say...

I am working on ME, for ME. ❤️

And the financial rewards? They’re just one of the benefits.

Sometimes you start looking for one thing... and end up finding something even more valuable. ✨
